How To Look Good on Your Wedding Day

If you’re anything like me, getting married is a magical time filled with hopes and dreams of the perfect wedding day. A beautiful venue, beautiful flowers, being surrounded by all you friends and family and most importantly, feeling like a princess on your big day. Here’s the first in a short series of blogs about our recommendations on how to look good on your wedding day.

Ahh yes, getting wed truly is one of the best days of your life.

So once you’ve booked the venue, decided on all the tasty food, asked your friends to be bridesmaids AND sorted out the “hubby to be”; its not long before all thoughts turn to how you’re going to look and feel on you wedding day and of course the DRESS!

All eyes will be on you from the moment you glide effortlessly up the isle, like an elegant swan, until the last note of the wedding dance. (Everyone is generally drunk from that point on-wards)

For many brides to be this can put a huge amount of pressure on them. But don’t ever forget, your fiance loves you just the way you are!

But if you are looking to make some improvements, large or small, then its a good idea to make an action plan that’s going to have you looking and feeling your very best on your wedding day. Just don’t leave it all to the last minute and expect instant results. Think of it like you’re an athlete preparing for the Olympics.

We would recommend planning ahead for any cosmetic, weight loss or beauty treatments. Give yourself at least 3 to 6 months before the wedding day. This will ensure your skin and body is in tip top condition for all those photographs (eek).

If you are planning on losing weight, depending on how much, you will need to factor this into the plan. The same goes for if you are looking to improve your smile with dental work such as braces, or if you are considering any kind of cosmetic surgery.

Staying safe with aesthetic treatments

If you are considering any kind of aesthetic treatment, especially injectables such as Anti-wrinkle injections or Fillers, make sure that you research the treatment in full and most importantly research the clinic and the practitioner that will treat you.

Plan ahead so that any treatment you have has time to be effective to give you the best possible results. We would always recommend opting for subtle improvements to enhance your appearance rather that a dramatic change that you may not like.

We have helped many brides to get ready for their big day along with mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids and grooms. Depending on your individual concerns, chances are we have a treatment or programme that can help you look fantastic on your wedding day.
