I’m pregnant, can I have Fat Freezing?

Unfortunately, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding you would not be suitable for Fat Freezing treatments.

Even though the treatments are completely non-invasive and non-surgical, Fat Freezing procedures have not been tested or medically approved for treating pregnant women and there is no evidence to confirm that it is a safe procedure to have during pregnancy or whilst you are breastfeeding.

Our advice would be to remain as healthy and as active as you can during pregnancy and breastfeeding to ensure that you do not gain excess weight.

Concentrate on eating healthy by focusing on whole foods with plenty of vegetables, meat and fish, nuts and seeds, and wholegrain, high fibre carbohydrates and fruit.

If you are interested in having a Fat Freezing treatment after pregnancy and breastfeeding, we would recommend waiting between 3-6 months postpartum. This will allow your body to recover from pregnancy and childbirth and give your hormones time to return to normal. Waiting this amount of time will ensure your body can achieve the best results from your Fat Freezing treatment.
